Position of ALPENSIA RESORT

ALPENSIA RESORT is the one of newest ski resorts and it worked as the headquarter for 2018 WINTER OLYMPICS.

It is the high land at 700 meters from the sea level. This means the average temperature is lower than SEOUL by 3-5 degrees. I.e., No need to worry the melting snow on the plus degree weather. (but, very rare during DEC – FEB) 

Also, the queue at each lift station is very short and you don’t need to line up long time. (This is the most important advantage if you were KOREAN.)

Comparing to other ski resorts, the strength of ALPENSIA RESORT is accommodation facilities. In terms of the quality and quantity, it is superior because of three hotels; INTERCONTINENTAL RESORT, HOLIDAY INN RESORT and HOLIDAY INN SUITE (residence hotel).

Because ALPENSIA RESORT is located at 200KM from SEOUL, though you can enjoy the day ski trip from SEOUL, we recommend you stay at the resort for a night, or more because you can ski as many as possible. (i.e., ski lift)

You will stay inside the resort

You will stay at HOLIDAY INN SUITE, which looks like residence hotel. 

If you are 3-4 people, we will arrange ONE BEDROOM SUITE. For more than 4 people, we will arrange TWO BEDROOM SUITE. But, please understand that each room type has only one double-size bed. So, other people need to sleep on the KOREAN mattresses on the floor. (This is common life style for KOREAN people)

Please understand that we don’t offer the room only because the number of rooms is very limited. Most of the rooms in the resort are owned by several time-sharing owners. Therefore, the available rooms – especially, around Christmas season – are very rare.

But, ski related items (e.g., ski lift pass, ski gears, or ski clothes rental) are optional. Therefore, you can decide the quantity of the ski items – such as ski gear rental, ski clothes rental – when you arrive at the resort.

Period regarded as weekend

Please understand that if you start this tour during 20-31 DEC 2019, we have no choice but to apply the weekend price because this is the peak demand period.
